We Communicate 2U

EARS plc in partnership with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and the Twickenham Experience at Twickenham stadium, worked with the security, facilities, medical and catering teams to deliver communications for the U2 and Noel Gallagher’s, High Flying Birds, summer concert. The gig on Saturday the 8th of July and Sunday the 9th of July represented the only UK stop on The Joshua Tree Tour of 2017. Celebrating U2’s 30th anniversary of the band’s seminal album, this sold out gig was an exciting opportunity for EARS plc and Twickenham stadium to develop their services.

EARS plc expanded on their already extensive mobile radio fleet for Twickenham and enhanced the capacity of the bespoke radio system that EARS created exclusively for the stadium. Providing in excess of 500 Motorola Digital DP4000e series hand portables and accessories, which were specifically chosen by the team to meet the environmental needs of the gig (inclusive of exclusive noise cancelling headsets) the communications systems provided a reliable and robust system for the gig.
