This battery is manufactured with Li-Ion cells. To get the best performance please follow the simple advice below.
- Charge fully before first use.
- Charge when necessary, do not allow the battery to run down completely before charging.
- If the battery is not in frequent use it may be best to consider a Ni-MH battery.
Make sure charge and discharge completely three times, if your ICOM BP232 Two-Way Radio Battery hasn’t being used for several months, I advise you should charge and discharge fully it for three times.
