3M Peltor CH-5 High Attenuation Headset

We are pleased to announce that we have added the 3M Peltor CH-5 High Attenuation Headset to the website and to our stock.  This is an important product which offers additional hearing protection to users in particularly noisy environments.

What are the applications?

Any site where staff need to communicate via two-way radio in a potentially high noise environment.

Where does this product fit?

The High Attenuation Headset is like a big brother to the FLX2 headset which many of you are already buying regularly.  It offers simple hearing protection to higher levels than the FLX2 product and interfaces to the most popular two-way radios on the market.  Typically, the CH-5 provides 5-6dB more protection than the FLX2 headsets, which means reduced risk of noise induced hearing loss.

What are the products?

Like the FLX2 product there are two main types of headset:

Those with a built in PTT on the cup which are connected directly to the radio via a simple download.

Those requiring an external PTT.  The headset is connected to the PTT by a download and the PTT is connected to the radio via an attached lead.
